We took trips to China and were able to connect with numerous schools and educational centers. By conversing and collaborating with teachers and principals, as well as volunteers from England who were looking to teach English to nearby students, we were able to connect with the area’s educational environment. Through presentations regarding American culture and discussions about the differing lifestyles and cultures, we learned a lot about the lives of students in China and helped them learn about our lives as well.
